Supply Chain Sustainability School - Gold

LCS Civils Ltd are pleased to announce that we have achieved GOLD status with the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

Our ongoing engagement with the Supply Chain Sustainability School has played a key role in expanding our knowledge and understanding of sustainability. Through access to high-quality training materials and resources, we have been able to deepen our awareness of the environmental, social, and economic factors that impact the construction industry.

As a business operating within the civil engineering and construction sector, we recognise that our activities inevitably contribute to a significant carbon footprint — a challenge shared by many in our industry. In response, we have recently taken a proactive step by developing a comprehensive Carbon Reduction Plan, fully aligned with Government PPN 06/21 requirements and the objectives of The Paris Agreement, aiming for Net Zero by 2050.

This plan outlines measurable actions and strategies to minimise our environmental impact, from improving operational efficiencies to exploring innovative, low-carbon solutions. While the journey to Net Zero is an ambitious one, we are committed to making continuous progress and holding ourselves accountable.

Thanks to the valuable support and learning provided by the Supply Chain Sustainability School, we have built a strong foundation for meaningful change — and we are confident this is just the beginning of our sustainability journey.
