LCS have achieved a SILVER accreditation with sustainability school, we are incredibly proud of the progress we have made as company to achieve this. Striving towards greater sustainability and environmental management within our operations. We are hoping to achieve Gold in the next 12 months.

LCS have also received SILVER from Wigan Council’s Believe in Business, which assists Wigan in creating an economy that is both successful and sustainable, promoting opportunity, growth and innovation. 

LCS have worked hard to ensure their business is not only more sustainable year on year, working towards a net zero for carbon emissions. LCS also ensure our supply chain partners meet a criteria that is in line with both the right to work guidance and demonstrating compliance with Modern Day Slavery requirements.

By signing up to the Believe in Business Charter LCS are showing their shared commitment to help tackle economic inequality locally and create a fairer borough with greater opportunities.

Looking to the future, going for Constructionline Platinum has been a goal for LCS this year and as our accreditation is due for renewal... what better time to reach for the top. This means we have to submit evidence showing as a company we are adhering to up to date policies and procedures, maintaining health and safety standards and taking corporate responsibility. A platinum membership requires an auditor to visit the LCS office to assess our documentation and record keeping. Look out on social media for updates in the coming weeks!
