In June, Chris proudly represented LCS Civils at Cansfield High School as part of Wigan Council’s ‘Believe In Your Future’ initiative. Joined by several local businesses and council representatives, the event gave students the opportunity to explore a range of career paths within the construction industry and beyond.

It was a valuable chance to engage directly with the students, share insights about working in construction, and encourage them to explore the wide variety of roles available — from engineering and site management to surveying and project planning.

One student, Poppy, shared her thoughts:

“I think sessions like this are really important because it opens up our minds about what we want to do in the future.”

We were proud to be part of such an inspiring event and to help shape the aspirations of the next generation.
